-
A fortnightly publication edited by Ildefonso Alier and directed, first, by Manuel Fernández Núñez and, from issue number 65, by José Subirá, dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of musical art, preferably lyrical art, with study and critical articles and musical chronicles, current theatre news and premieres in the various Spanish provinces, bibliographical notes, information on philharmonic societies and orchestras, poetic compositions related to music, and biographical notes on composers and artists, accompanied by their photographic portraits. Among his collaborators are the two conductors he had, as well as Vicente Escohotado, J. Navas Murillo, Ángel Andrade Gayoso and R. Villar, among others. From 6 to 8 pages of text per issue, plus the cover, he also edited another twelve pages with scores, which are not found in this collection. In its issue 78, it states that it is suspending publication due to the economic problem caused by the increase in the price of paper for printing. (from the website)
