Monthly publication published in Cordoba during the end of Primo de Rivera's dictatorship and the beginning of the Second Republic, considered of great quality, pluralism and prestige, with excellent well documented content, which had collaborators in the main Spanish provinces, as well as in Paris, Milan, Athens and other capitals of South America. Dedicated to the musical art in all its aspects, from the religious to the classical, lyrical and popular, it contains articles and studies of technique, history and professional character, biography, bibliography, chronicles and information about orchestras, bands and choral societies, theatres, concerts and festivals and education (conservatories and schools). Teachers, composers, conductors, critics and publicists collaborate. Directed by Rafael Serrano Palma, its signatures include those of Joaquín Turina, José Subirá, Rogelio Villar, Ricardo Villa, Paulino Cuevas, B. Pérez Casas and Emilio Díez Revenga. Edited in numbers of varied pagination, with cover, it includes photographs, preferably of artists, composers and orchestral directors, as well as publicity, very abundant in some of its numbers. The Biblioteca Nacional's collection contains 37 issues.
