Aragón artístico

Musical and literary magazine published every ten years, with the printer Félix Villagrasa as its editor and owner. It reports on the activity of this beautiful art in the Aragonese capital, although later it will include a section entitled Crónicas madrileñas. It will also promote the artistic movement and publish articles on the history, works and musical instruments and even a musical bulletin. It will also report on theatrical and operatic activity and publish classical musical pieces, at a time when piano performance was the only way to hear music outside concert halls, while giving the local public the works of unknown composers. Among his collaborators are the critic and musicographer Ruperto Ruiz de Velasco (1858 -1897), as well as Agustín Peiró, José M. Alvira, R. Lucas Martínez, Daniel Pardo Gil, G. de Castro, D. Zabalza and J. Liso y Torres, among others. With eight pages per issue, it includes numerous engravings, both of musical themes and of others related to fine arts and costumbrism.
